The shocking things that you never knew about the name Yahweh

Yahweh is said by a great many bible scholars and church theologians to be the correct pronunciation of the Creator of Israel's name [YHWH= yode ,he ,waw ,he], but is it?  The Roman Catholic church is and has been the mightiest church the world has ever seen, and in our time having more than one billion followers.  It's history goes right back to Roman Emperor Constantine the great who established Christianity as a legal religion in Roman Empire times.  Would you be amazed to know that the chief God of the Ancient Romans is still being praised and worshipped unknowingly today in our time by a great multitude of Christians and Jews worldwide? The chief God of the Ancient Romans is known to us today as Jupiter, King of the Gods, but Jupiter has an older more ancient name.  In English it is Jove and in classical Latin it is spelled IOVE and pronounced Yahweh.  If we check a pronunciation chart of classical Latin in a book called Vox Latina, which is one of the most respected and authoritative books on the pronunciation of classical Latin we find that "I" is pronounced as a double "EE" sound as in the word sheep and the "O" is pronounced as a "AH" sound as in the word father and the "V" is pronounced as a "W" as in the word whale and the "E" is pronounced as  "EH" as in the word pet.  If we put these sounds together EE + AH + W + EH it pronounces YAHWEH.  The EE sound + AH sound = YAH and W + EH = WEH, put the two sounds together and it pronounces YAHWEH spelled IOVE in classical Latin which is the King of all the Roman Gods.  THE ANCIENT ROMANS WORSHIPED AND PRAISED THE NAME OF YAHWEH. One thing is for sure, YHWH is a Hebrew deity, and IS NOT a Roman deity named YAHWEH = IOVE / JUPITER.

Jupiter  (a father that helps ), the Greek Zeus. The Olympian Zeus was the national god of the Hellenic race, as well as the supreme ruler of the heathen world, and as such formed the true opposite to Jehovah. Jupiter or Zeus is mentioned in two passages of the New Testament, on the occasion of St. Paul’s visit to Lystra, (Acts 14:12,13) where the _expression "Jupiter, which was before their city," means that his temple was outside the city. Also in (Acts 19:35) Smith's Bible Dictionary

Jupiter Ju"pi*ter (?), n. [L., fr. Jovis pater. See Jove.] 1. (Rom. Myth.) The supreme deity, king of gods and men, and reputed to be the son of Saturn and Rhea; JoveHe corresponds to the Greek Zeus. 2. (Astron.) One of the planets, being the brightest except Venus, and the largest of them all, its mean diameter being about 85,000 miles. It revolves about the sun in 4,332.6 days, at a mean distance of 5.2028 from the sun, the earth's mean distance being taken as unity. Jupiter's beard. (Bot.) (a) A South European herb, with cymes of small red blossoms (Centranthus ruber). (b) The houseleek (Sempervivum tectorum); -- so called from its massive inflorescence, like the sculptured beard of Jove. Prior. Dias IN ACTS 14;13 (Greek Διας) D-EE-AH-S/ DYAHS, Dias (Greek Διας)

Compare sound’s of(Greek Διας) dias/dyahs to Latin Djovis/dyahwes ,we can clearly see that dyahwes/djovis is a longer form of dyahs/dias or that dyahs/dias is a shorter form of dyahwes/djovis.

IN ACTS 14:13 (Greek Διας) D-EE-AH-S/ DYAHS, Dias (Greek Διας) THE (O) IN IOVE/JOVE IS PRONOUNCED AS THE {AH /SOUND} as can be seen in its relationship to its Greek counter part Διας /dyahs. THIS MEANS HOW EVER YOU CHOOSE TO PRONOUNCE I-O-V-E IT STILL PRONOUNCES YAHWEH/YAH-OO-EH, PEOPLE SAY WE DON’T TRULY KNOW HOW TO PRONOUNCE I-O-V-E, BUT WE CAN CLEARLY PROVE THEIR ALLEGATIONS TO BE FALSE AND NOT ACCORDING TO THE TRUTH AND THE FACTS.

The Word of Yahweh" (first edition), the Assembly of Yahweh, Eaton Rapids, Michigan, has the following footnote. It is found on page 1106 and is a footnote for Acts 14:12.  Footnote #81 for the word "Jupiter". ; “The Greek text has Zeus here. Some” English translations say Jupiter, which is Latin. The Aramaic text says, Mariah Elaha"! It is interesting to note that "Jove" is another name for Jupiter, and would be written "IOUE" Latin.

References about the abomination of desolation; JUPITER/JOVE=YAHWEH

*Please note there are many references to show who exactly the abomination of desolation is, so if it becomes too long for you just read the highlighted areas in yellow.

In the temple at Jerusalem on the altar of burnt offering an altar to Jupiter was erected, "the abomination that maketh desolate" (Daniel 11:31), and a swine was sacrificed upon it (see ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION). The immoral practices associated with heathen worship in those days established themselves in the temple. Cheyne, article "Bacchus," EB; Kent, History of the Jewish People, I, 328-29; Josephus, Ant, XII, v, 4. International, Standard Bible Encyclopedia
15. But some said, He casteth out devils by Beelzebub - These he answers, ver. 17. Others, to try whether it were so or no, sought a sign from heaven. These he reproves in ver. 29 and following verses. Beelzebub signifies the Lord of flies, a title which the heathens gave to Jupiter whom they accounted the chief of their gods, and yet supposed him to be employed in driving away flies from their temple and sacrifices. The Philistines worshipped a deity under this name, as the God of Ekron: from hence the Jews took the name, and applied it to the chief of the devils.  Mark iii, 22. WESLEY'S NOTES –Luke 11

31. And arms - Not only of his own army, but many Jews. The sanctuary- Even the holy of holies. The abomination - The statue of Jupiter placed in the temple. WESLEY'S NOTES - DANIEL 11

25. By peace - Under colour of kindness. Against the prince of princes - He fought against God, affronting God’s laws, profaning God’s worship, and temple, and setting up the image and worship of Jupiter there. Without hand- by a disease whereof he died, 1Macc vi, 8. WESLEY'S NOTES - DANIEL 8

In 70 Vespasian's supporters called him back to Rome to become emperor. Titus finished the final siege of Jerusalem, and then erectedan idol on the devastated temple altar. Josephus claims 1.1 million Jews were killed and 97,000 enslaved in the war and siege ( (Josephus,Wars, VI, ix, 3).

ABOUT Daniel's prophecy, Kitto says, "This appears to have been a prediction of the pollution of the temple by Antiochus Epiphanes, who caused an idolatrous altar to be built on the altar of burnt offerings, whereon unclean things were offered to Jupiter Olympius, to whom the temple itself was dedicated"  (Encyclopedia of Biblical Literature, John Kitto, Vol. 1, p. 22).   Then Antiochus dispatched troops to Judea in 167 B.C., destroying the temple and its sanctuary. (However, the basic structure of the temple remained intact and was later restored.) This act did away with the daily sacrifice. Antiochus then set up an image directly on the alter of the temple-thus defiling and making it desolate. The image he set up was that of Jupiter Olympus. This is the same image that the historic counterfeit church has pawned off to the world as the image of Jesus Christ. As if this were not enough, Antiochus further alienated the Jews by offering swine's blood upon the alter. A Manual of Ancient History, Rawlinson p. 255.

The phrase at the end of the verse reads, "and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." The context of the final word "desolate" refers to the perpetrator, or "causer of desolation" (Jamison, Fausett and Brown Commentary, vol. 1, p. 757), hence, the "Desolator"-Satan. To paraphrase: "the abomination shall defile the sanctuary until the end when the appointed doom or judgment falls upon Satan."

There was another later and more specific abomination of the holy place accomplished by emperor Hadrian, who with "...studied insult to the Jews, set up the figure of a boar over the Bethlehem gate of the city which rose upon the site and ruins of Jerusalem (Euseb. Chron., 1, i. p. 45, ed. 1658), but he erected a temple to Jupiter upon the site of the Jewish temple and caused an image of himself to be set up in the part which answered to the most holy place" (Euseb. Chron, Vol. 1, p. 23,ed 1658).

Not content merely to stop the sacrifices, Antiochus desecrated the temple. "A bearded image of the pagan deity (Jupiter Olympus) … (was) set up upon the Temple altar. The Jews popularly spoke of this as 'the abomination of desolation.' Greek soldiers and their paramours performed licentious heathen rites in the very Temple courts. Swine were sacrificed on the altar" (Charles Pfeiffer, Between the Testaments, 1974, p. 81).

Daniel (11:31), in that section of his prophecies which is generally interpreted as referring to the fearful calamities that were to fall on the Jews in the time of Antiochus Epiphanes, says, "And they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate." Antiochus Epiphanes caused an altar to be erected on the altar of burnt offering, on which sacrifices were offered to Jupiter Olympus. (Compare. 1 Maccabees. 1:57

(Comp. 1 Macc. 1:57).

This was the abomination of the desolation of Jerusalem. The same language is employed in Dan. 9:27 (comp Matt. 24:15), where the reference is probably to the image-crowned standards which the Romans set up at the east gate of the temple (A.D. 70), and to which they paid idolatrous honors. "Almost the entire religion of the Roman camp consisted in worshipping the ensign, swearing by the ensign, and in preferring the ensign before all other gods." These ensigns were an "abomination" to the Jews, the "abomination of desolation." This word is also used symbolically of sin in general (Isa. 66:3); an idol (44:19); the ceremonies of the apostate Church of Rome (Rev. 17:4); a detestable act (Ezek. 22:11). EASTONS’S 1897 BIBLE DICTONARY

THE GOD OF FORCES: “But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces” Other versions read, “But in their place shall he shall honor the god of fortresses,”  “But instead he will honor a god of fortresses,” and “He shall honor a god of fortresses instead of these.” NRVS The words “his estate” has a twofold meaning. From the earthly point of view, they refer to the position his father’s gods occupied. Instead of those Syrian gods, he honored “the God of forces,” or “the God of fortresses.” From heaven’s point of view, it refers to the Almighty God Himself. That is, this king would, in his own thought, assign the position, which God alone occupies, to another god – “the God of forces.” In a place identified with the God of heaven, Antiochus would give honor to “the God of forces.”  This false god was Jupiter (the Latin form of the Greek “Zeus”). He was supposed to represent the “fertilizing power of the heavens.” McCLINTOK AND STRONG
The name Jupiter” means “god of bulwarks,” or fortresses. Antiochus Epiphanes introduced this god to the Syrians, who never before honored it. He erected a temple to this god in his capital city of Antioch, adorning it with all manner of gold, silver, and precious stones. However, the temple was never completed.  The real transgression of this wicked king took place when he dared to erect an idol altar to this god upon the very altar of God – the altar of burnt offerings. “Antiochus, after compelling the Jews to call the Temple of Jerusalem THE TEMPLE OF JUPITER OLYMPIUS, built an idol altar upon the altar of God. Upon this altar swine were offered every day, and the broth of their flesh was sprinkled about the Temple.” McCLINTOK AND STRONG

[He Shall Honor] “And a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.”  This to refer to Antiochus’ attempt to build a temple to Jupiter, adorned with all manner of precious metals, stones, and the likes. In his renovation of Antioch, the following is said of this king. “Even before he had begun his reign he had contributed to the building of the temple of Zeus (Latin form of Jupiter) in Athens and to the adornment of the theatre. He enlarged Antioch on the Orontes by adding a section to the city (named Epiphania after him). There he built an aqueduct, a council hall, a marketplace, and a temple to Jupiter Capitolinus. .” BRITANNICA 2003

The Romans prohibited Jews from even entering the city of Jerusalem after the city's destruction in A.D. 70. The Jewish revolt of A.D. 132-135 failed and Jews was unable to wrest the site of Jerusalem from the Romans. The Romans rebuilt and fortified the former capital of Judaism, naming it Colonia Aelia Capitolina, which they considered a Roman colony. A heathen temple dedicated to Jupiter Capitolinus was built atop Mt. Moriah where the Jewish Temple had stood. The New Unger's Bible Dictionary.

On the altar of burnt-offerings; the first victim was sacrificed to Jupiter Olympius, on the 25th of the same month.” McCLINTOK AND STRONG

“But he also adorned Delos with inscribed altars & an abundance of statues. And at Antioch (he erected) a magnificent temple to Capitoline Jove [=Jupiter], not only with a ceiling lined with gold but with walls completely covered with gilded panels. And he did not complete many other project’s promised to other places, since his reign was very brief.” INTO HIS OWN, by MAHLON H SMITH, 1999

Mauzzim: (fortresses). The marginal note to the Authorized Version of Da 11:38 "the god of forces," gives as the equivalent of the last word "Mauzzim, or gods protectors, or munitions." There can be little doubt that mauzzim is to be taken in its literal sense of "fortresses," just as in Da 11:19,39 "the god of fortresses" being then the deity who presided over strongholds. The opinion of Gesenius is that "the god of fortresses" was Jupiter Capitolinus, for whom Antiochus built a temple at Antioch. Liv. xli. 20. Smith's Bible Dictionary

(6.) He cast down the place of his sanctuary. He did not burn and demolish the temple, but he cast it down, when he profaned it, made it the temple of Jupiter Olympius, and set up his image in it. He also cast down the truth to the ground, trampled upon the book of the law, that word of truth, tore it, and burnt it, and did what he could to destroy it quite, that it might be lost and forgotten for ever. These were the projects of that wicked prince.

. [3.] The question itself that was asked: "How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice? How long shall the prohibition of it continue? How long shall the pleasant land be made unpleasant by that severe interdict? How long shall the transgression of desolation (the image of Jupiter), that great transgression which makes all our sacred things desolate, how long shall that stand in the temple? How long shall the sanctuary and the host, the holy place and the holy persons that minister in it, be trodden under foot by the oppressor?’’
MATTHEW HENRY, COMMENTARY ON DANIEL 8.

This indeterminate period, which has now spanned more than nineteen hundred years comes between the sixty-ninth week of years and the seventieth of the prophecy. The seventieth week, a week of seven years, is yet to be fulfilled for Israel. As you read of this you will see that this is what the book of Revelation and other prophetic passages call "the great tribulation," the time of Jacob's trouble. It lies ahead; it has been broken off from the other sixty-nine and is yet to be fulfilled. The reason for proving this now will become clearly apparent later in this study, when showing that the Romans did not adopt IOVE/YAHWEH from the Hebrews.

The numbers and architecture of Roman temples reflect the city's receptivity to all the religions of the world. JOVE /IOVE/JUPITER   PRE –DATE 5O9, BCE/ PRE –DATE 650,BCE  Inserting the vowels of IABE into the original Hebrew consonant text (Y-H-W-H ) The noted scholar Heinisch points to the weakness of the evidence that Y-H-W-H , i.e. “Yahweh” is the pronunciation of  הוהי   He writes, “The pronunciation of the divine name “Yahweh” REST UPON SAMARITAN TRADITION as given by Theodoret. (Theology of the old testament, pg.39 .

Inserting the vowels of IABE into the original Hebrew consonant text (Y-H-W-H, we obtain the form YAHWEH, which has been generally accepted by modern scholars as the true pronunciation of the Divine name.

G.H. Parke-Taylor's book Yahweh: The Divine Name In The Bible, p. 79, we read that Genebrardus, in 1567, was the first to suggest the pronunciation, Jahve, largely on the strength of Theodoret's assertion that the Samaritans used the pronunciation Iabe, subsequent to the time when pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton was stopped by the Jews.

George W. Buchanan, "Some Unfinished Business With the Dead Sea Scrolls," RevQ 13.49-52 (1988), 416, points out that there was only one group in antiquity to pronounce the divine name similar to the popular form, "Yahweh." And this only because Theodoret (fifth-century CE Antiochene theologian) claimed that the Samaritans pronounced the divine name as Iabe.

This was according to their nature, as we have already shown. And they now said that they were a colony of Medes and Persians; and indeed they were a colony of theirs. So they sent ambassadors to Antiochus, and an epistle, whose contents are these: "To king Antiochus the god, Epiphanes, a memorial from the Sidonians, who live at Shechem. Our forefathers, upon certain frequent plagues, and as following a certain ancient superstition, had a custom of observing that day which by the Jews is called the Sabbath. (18) And when they had erected a temple at the mountain called Gerizim, though without a name, they offered upon it the proper sacrifices. Now, upon the just treatment of these wicked Jews, those that manage their affairs, supposing that we were of kin to them, and practiced as they do, make us liable to the same accusations, although we be originally Sidonians, as is evident from the public records. We therefore beseech thee, our benefactor and Savior, to give order to Apollonius, the governor of this part of the country, and to Nicanor, the procurator of thy affairs, to give us no disturbance, nor to lay to our charge what the Jews are accused for, since we are aliens from their nation, and from their customs; but let our temple, which at present hath no name at all be named
the Temple of Jupiter Hellenius. If this were once done, we should be no longer disturbed, but should be more intent on our own occupation with quietness, and so bring in a greater revenue to thee." When the Samaritans had petitioned for this, the king sent them back the following answer, in an epistle: "King Antiochus to Nicanor. The Sidonians, who live at Shechem, have sent me the memorial enclosed. When therefore we were advising with our friends about it, the messengers sent by them represented to us that they are no way concerned with accusations which belong to the Jews, but choose to live after the customs of the Greeks. Accordingly, we declare them free from such accusations, and order that, agreeable to their petition, their temple be named the Temple of Jupiter Hellenius." He also sent the like epistle to Apollonius, the governor of that part of the country, in the forty-sixth year, and the eighteenth day of the month Hecatorabeom.   JOSEPHUS' WRITINGS - BOOK 12, CH. 5

The universal peril led the Samaritans, eager for safety, to repudiate all connection and kinship with the Jews. They sent ambassadors and an epistle asking to be recognized as belonging to the Greek party, and to have their temple on Mt. Gerizim named "The Temple of Jupiter Hellenius." The request was granted. This was evidently the final breach between the two races indicated in John 4:9, "For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans."  2003 ANTIOCHIANS Bible Study - International Standard Bible Encyclopedia - ANTIOCHIANS DefinitionAnt, XII, v; Stanley, History of the Jewish Church, III, section 48; Riggs, History of the Jewish People, chapter ii, sections 15-26 (Kent's Hist. Series, IV). Dwight M. Pratt

Inserting the vowels of IABE into the original Hebrew consonant text  (Y-H-W-H, we obtain the form YAHWEH, this makes 100% sense since the Samaritans worship the deity JUPITER/IOVE, who is THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, which is I-O-V-E =YAHWEH, who is the Roman deity JUPITER.

Truthfully Theodoret rightly said that the Samaritan’s pronounced the divine name as IABE but what is even more amazing is that Theodoret specifically said that the Jews had a completely different pronunciation for the Creator’s name YHWH, which was written down by Theodoret as a transliteration in classical Greek, with the three greek letter’s;  (Iota,Alpha,Omega). See; (Quaestiones in I Paral. cap. IX) He wrote "the word Nethinim means in Hebrew ‘gift of Iaô ’, that is the God who is".

 IN ACTS 14:13 (Greek Διας) D-EE-AH-S/ DYAHS, Dias (Greek Διας) THE (O) IN IOVE/JOVE IS PRONOUNCED AS THE {
AH /SOUND} as can be seen in its relationship to its Greek counter part Διας /dyahs.

There are some yahwehist preachers that say and try to claim that the ROMANS AND THE ENTIRE ROMAN EMPIRE adopted the name of Yahweh from the HEBREWS/JEWS. They say Yahweh is a Hebrew name that the Romans adopted, and it’s that simple!  They don’t want to talk to you anymore and quickly hang up the phone on you. These yahwehists cannot and do not provide any evidence or facts or scripture to support their position that Yahweh is a Hebrew name that the Romans adopted}. IT IS A FACT THAT; The ROMAN TEMPLE of JOVE CAPITALINUS DATES BACK TO 509, BCE and the worship of Jupiter/jove/yahweh pre dates 650 bce. See page above.

I say to them very boldly lets see the scriptures and the facts and the evidence and the proofs of: When? Where? How? Why?  To prove true their Grand fantasy name adoption theory, that the ROMANS ADOPTED THE NAME YAHWEH FROM THE HEBREWS/JEWS.{SEE PAGE ON JOVE/JUPITER, HISTORY DATES.650 bce, 509 bce}

We can see from this Jewish historian Josephus in his writing that Jupiter /Jove /Yahweh is certainly not the true name of (YHWH/yod he waw he). Observe closely what is said; He also compelled them to forsake the worship, which they paid their own God. Why would he this wicked ruler compel the Jews to forsake their own god if it was the exact same name as for his own god Jove/IOVE =Yahweh???????

However, in that citadel dwelt the impious and wicked part of the [Jewish] multitude, from whom it proved that the citizens suffered many and sore calamities. And when the king had built an idol altar upon God's altar, he slew swine upon it, and so offered a sacrifice neither according to the law, nor the Jewish religious worship in that country.
He also compelled them to forsake the worship which they paid their own God, and to adore those whom he took to be gods; and made them build temples, and raise idol altars in every city and village, and offer swine upon them every day. He also commanded them not to circumcise their sons, and threatened to punish any that should be found to have transgressed his injunction. He also appointed overseers, who should compel them to do what he commanded. And indeed many Jews were there who complied with the king's commands, either voluntarily, or out of fear of the penalty that was denounced. But the best men, and those of the noblest souls, did not regard him, but did pay a greater respect to the customs of their country than concern as to the punishment which he threatened to the disobedient; on which account they every day underwent great miseries and bitter torments; for they were whipped with rods, and their bodies were torn to pieces, and were crucified, while they were still alive, and breathed. They also strangled those women and their sons whom they had circumcised, as the king had appointed, hanging their sons about their necks as they were upon the crosses. And if there were any sacred book of the law found, it was destroyed, and those with whom they were found miserably perished also. JOSEPHUS’ WRITINGS - BOOK 12, CH.5

ARE NOT YAHWEHISTS MODERN SAMMARITIANS AND ROMANS BECAUSE THEY WORSHIP THE DEITY OF THE ANCIENT ROMANS AND SAMMARITIANS?

The noted scholar Heinisch points to the weakness of the evidence that iabe, i.e “Yahweh” is the pronunciation of  הוהי   He writes, “The pronunciation of the divine name “Yahweh” REST UPON SAMARITAN TRADITION as given by Theodoret. Theology of the old testament, pg.39 .

Here is a highly deceptive misleading out of context reference wrongly used by many yahwehists as legitimate evidence to FALSELY prove the true pronunciation of YHWH as yahweh.

Let us examine how they twist this reference; this is only what they show you about this reference and all they want you to see; The encyclopedia Judaica page 680 “The true pronunciation of the name YHWH was never lost.  Several early Greek writers of the Christian church testify that the name was pronounced “Yahweh”.

This is what they don’t show you about this reference and what they don’t want you to see that the exact sentence immediately following the sentence they showed you reads as this in context; The encyclopedia Judaica page 680;

“The true pronunciation of the name YHWH was never lost.  Several early Greek writers of the Christian church testify that the name was pronounced “Yahweh”. This is confirmed, at least for the vowel of the first syllable of the name,
by the shorter form YAH, which is sometimes used in poetry (e.g..EX. 15:2) and the – yahu or – yah that serves as the final syllable in very many Hebrew names.”

THE ONLY COMFIRMED PART OF THE PRONUNCIATION OF YHWH IN THIS REFFERENCE IS THE FIRST SYLLABLE AS PRONOUNCED YAH.

HERE IS MORE EVIDENCE THAT YAHWISTS DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT!

Clements’s Stromata Book V., 6:34 ACTUAL WRITING READ IAOU, Clements’s Stromata Book V., 6:34 used only "IAOU" , and not "IAOUE" as claimed FALSELY by yahwists as proof that YHWH IS PRONOUNCED AS yahweh. CLEMENT OF ALEXANDRIA ACTUALLY WROTE IAOU/YAH-OO

It should be very well emphasized and noted that the Greek name "iaou" does not support the English transliteration as pronounced Yahweh.

(THE ANCOR BIBLE DICTIONARY vol 6 pg. 1011)

IAOUIEE (London Papyri. xlvi, 446-482) DOES NOT  EQUALTHE TRUE PRONUNCIATION OF YHWH AS SOME TRY AND CLAIM.

What kind of evidence is iaouiee as the pronunciation of YHWH when 1st it’s a Egyptian papyri written in Greek.  And was this Egyptian papyri translated from another language into the Greek?    and if so what language was it translated from. 2nd what kind of religious papyri is it related to, what deity and, or how many different deity’s in context of where it appears in the Papyri does it pertain to? 3rd Does this religious papyri have anything to connect it to the Jews/Hebrew’s/Israelites and or YHWH.

4th. Does the seven letter word; iaouiee consisting of seven letters: (i)(a)(o)(u)(i)(e)(e) at all agree with the statement in; JOSEPHUS' WRITINGS - BOOK 25, CH. 5, setion7. That the sacred name consisted of four vowels?

5th Many yahwehists use Professor Anson F. Rainey statements in; BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGY REVIEW “How was the Tetragrammaton Pronounced?”  (July/August 1985. pp. 78-79), pertaining to iaouiee (London Papyri. xlvi, 446-482), that the seven letter word iaouiee made of 5 different vowels is evidence for the true pronunciation of YHWH.  Is iaouiee of any value at all, or just a guess to support there false theory that YHWH was pronounced as Yahweh?  These same yahwehists like to use the statement in; JOSEPHUS' WRITINGS FLAVIUS - BOOK 25, CH. 5, setion7, That the sacred name consisted of four vowels. Even a child can clearly see and acknowledge that iaouiee does not agree to the statement of Josephus that the sacred name was made up of four vowels.

6th I personally found reading Professor Anson F. Rainey statements in; BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGY REVIEW “How was the Tetragrammaton Pronounced?”  (July/August 1985. pp. 78-79), to be very confusing because of the two paragraphs which I label statement s1 and statement s2 which I believe to be a blatant contradictions with in his own letter because he says; (s1){“Incidentally, that same European background is where we get the V in Jehovah instead of the original W.” }He says (W) IS ORIGNAL in  (s1) and then goes on to say latter in his own letter in statement (s2):{ Speaking of Lemaire, I heartily endorse his new reading of bytdwd, “House of David” on the Mesha stele (“‘House of David’ Restored in Moabite Inscription,” ,” May/June 1994).  Furthermore, I have gut feeling that both the Mesha and the Dan inscriptions have to do with events in 853-851 B.C.E., } he now says ; I heartily endorse his new reading of bytdwd, “House of David” and pronounce the (W) in bytdWd as a (V)  as in daVid when he had just previously stated; Incidentally, that same European background is where we get the V in Jehovah instead of the original W.”

Now I ask this question are not THESE two statements with in his very own letter  a huge contradiction?  and also considering this contradiction can there be given any trust or confidence  or reliability  to Professor Anson F. Rainey statement about the Greek transcriptions in religious papyri found in Egypt (London Papyri. xlvi, 446-482)? iaouiee

STATEMENT( S1)The –W in those names should be pronounced like the –W in words like raglāw “his (two) feet” (written rglyw), cf. Genesis 24:32 et passim.  Israelis, of course, pronounce that form raglav because of the European background of many “revivers” of modern Hebrew.  Incidentally, that same European background is where we get the V in Jehovah instead of the original W.

STATEMENT (S2) Speaking of Lemaire, I heartily endorse his new reading of bytdwd, “House of David” on the Mesha stele (“‘House of David’ Restored in Moabite Inscription,” May/June 1994).  Furthermore, I have gut feeling that both the Mesha and the Dan inscriptions have to do with events in 853-851 B.C.E., namely the battle in which Ahab, king of Israel, died while his ally, Jehoshaphat, escaped unharmed, and the later invasion of Moab.

DICTIONARY OF DEITIES AND DEMONS IN THE BIBLE,PAGE 1768 “(COLPE 1975); the syncretist magical papyri associate Iao(i.e.Yahweh) with Zeus, PGM   I  300. V   471  (Zeus  Adonai  Iao,  cf    IV    2771).

Heres a reference that  definitely  associates YHWH  to the name IAO. Theodoret also definitely associates YHWH  to the name IAO See; (Quaestiones in I Paral. cap. IX) He wrote that "the word Nethinim means in Hebrew ‘gift of Iaô ’, that is the God who is".

The name IAO does not pronounce the same as  iaouiee.

Some Yahwehists like to use the statement from; JOSEPHUS' WRITINGS, that the sacred name consisted of four vowels and then they falsely provide you with the four vowels they have made up on their own and CHOSEN FOR YOU! The real truth and fact is seen bellow that Josephus spoke of the sacred name consisting of four vowels, but JOSEPHUS DID NOT SAY specifically WHAT THE FOUR VOWELS ACTUALLY WERE.

“A mitre also of fine linen encompassed his head, which was tied by a blue ribbon, about which there was another golden crown, in which was engraven the sacred name [of God]:
it consists of four vowels. However, the high priest did not wear these garments at other times, but a more plain habit; he only did it when he went into the most sacred part of the temple, which he did but once in a year, on that day when our custom is for all of us to keep a fast to God”. JOSEPHUS' WRITINGS FLAVIUS - BOOK 25, CH. 5, setion7

“This hypothesis is not intrinsically improbable – and in Aramaic, a language closely related to Hebrew, “ to be” actually is hawa- but it should be noted that in adopting it we admit that, using the name Hebrew in the historical sense,
Yahweh is not a Hebrew name”(Encyclopedia. Britannica. 1958 Ed: Volume 12. p.996).

The causative theme of hayah is found in no Semitic language, except the late Syriac, but is replaced by that of some other root.  Those, therefore who still regard it as causative refer it to hawah, found once in Hebrew in the form hawa "fell"; they interpret this as "he who causes to fall" (Robertson Smith; cf. Arab. "haway". Ency Brit 1958 Ed Vol 12, p 996

The causative theme of hayah is found in no Semitic language, except the late Syriac.

It thus becomes possible to determine with a fair degree of certainty the historical pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton, the results agreeing with the statement of Ex. iii. 14, in which YHWH terms Himself hyha. "I will be", a phrase which is immediately proceeded by the fuller term "I will be that I will be,'' or, as in the English versions, "I am'' and "I am that I am.'' The name hwhy is accordingly derived from the root hwh(=hyh), and is regarded as an imperfect. This passage is decisive for the pronunciation "Yahweh"; for the etymology was undoubtedly based on the known word. The Jewish Encyclopedia, 1901, Vol. 12, Pg.119

This hypothesis is not intrinsically improbable – and in Aramaic, a language closely related to Hebrew, “ to be” actually is hawa- but it should be noted that in adopting it we admit that,

OUT OF THINE OWN MOUTH, THOU HAS SAID:

The great opponent of Y
ahweh is Satan, the Devil.  Down through the ages he has sought to supplant Yahweh in the minds of the people.  To do this he has set himself up as a "God"; and as a deity, he has been worshipped by all nations, under various names, the better known of which were Zeus, Jupiter, Adonis, Pan, etc.  Less known names include Lord, Gad, (God), Theos, Nehusta, Kurios, Chrisna, etc.  All of these names were personal names originally applied to national deities, in opposition to Yahweh the Creator; these and back of each of nations' deities was the Satan, the Devil, Yahweh's chief opponent.;http://www.yahwehsassembly.org/past.htm

What did Yahshua and Dani'el mean by this abomination that lays waste? Who is BAAL-ZEBUL? We must remember that when the Scriptures speak of "worshipping the host of heaven",

A person’s given, personal name does not change from language to language. Names are transliterated, that is, the very sound is brought over into another language. Here is a sample of the thousands of non-English names widely used unchanged in our language today: Adam, Daniel, Levi, Gorbachev, Mercedes, Sioux, Toyota, Sony, Saab, Zeiss, Milcom,
Jupiter, and Zeus.

Imagine that names change from language to language. In each foreign country you visit your name would vary to conform to local language. If your name were Charles it would change to Carl, to Karl, to Carlos, etc. Even your family name would vary from country to country, if names were translated.

Now imagine the confusion. Your passport showing your given name would immediately become invalid as you crossed the border. Your driver’s license would be wrong and useless. Unable to connect you with your purchases, the bank backing your credit card couldn’t bill you for your charges and you could face fraud charges. People calling from home would be unable to locate you. Your travelers checks would be void. In essence, you would lose your identity—
the very thing that has happened as a result of man’s changing of the Creator’s Name! Oak-Grove Superstition /In mythology, the Oak is sacred to Jupiter, or Baal. The Druids worshipped in groves of oak, and ever held them sacred. To them they were holy temples, in which were their altars and sacrifices. "The shadow of the oaks was good--an agreeable retreat from the sun's heat in a weary land. The idolaters assembled under them, after the fashion of a camp-meeting, to "get religion," or conscience-salvos, through the priests of Baal Jupiter, or Jove--various names for the lord of all the gods. Very discreditable practices were indulged in by the devout; too gross, indeed, to be named in print. (By Dr. John Thomas) http://members.aol.com/bible12/oakgrove.htm
In fact, most Bible students would oppose this second assertion, beginning a kind of litany reciting historical passages to show just who Jupiter really was. They might tell us that
Jupiter was a pagan deity, the chief Roman deity identified with the Greek "Zeus." And they would be right. But to the Romans he really was the supreme deity as Zeus was to the Greeks!    “What was wrong with claiming to worship the creator of all things who they just happened to call Jupiter? For some reason the apostles objected in no uncertain terms.” Gary C. The Greek Nike-laity (Nikelaitans) having succeeded in substituting Zeus in the place of Yahshuah the Messiah, the unsuspecting church has been deceived into perpetuating this deception to the end that the world is ready once more to set up a unified religious worship, not of the one they think they have been worshipping, the Son of Y

Q. “He has many names.  Wouldn’t all worship go to Him anyway, no matter what name we use? A.  This is the same logic the pagans used, which went something like this: “He is Bel-Merodach in Babylon, Baalzebub in Philistia, Zeus in Greece, and we
Romans will just call Him Jupiter.”  Never mind that each name meant a different way of worship.  The prophet Micah brings this out in 4:5, revealing the false “walk” expressed by each different name. For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of Yahweh our Elohim  for ever and ever.”  His name is more than a label.  It connotes a well-defined, specifically commanded way of worship that belongs only to Him who bears the Name Yahweh.http://home.elp.rr.com/kdisney/The%20Mistaken%20J.htm

Three gods were worshipped at Baalbek/Heliopolis, called Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury, or Zeus, Aphrodite and Hermes. It is almost certain that they were the major Syrian gods, Hadad or Baal, Atargatis, and a young god similar to Adonis, whose native name is unknown. No inscriptions label them with their native names, although Macrobius does say that "the god whom they revere as highest and greatest they have given the name of Adad." He also says Atargatis was Adad's partner. The first two had dominated Syrian religion for millennia, making the equation quite likely. Mercury's Semitic equivalent has not been identified with certainty, but such family groups of father, mother and son were common throughout geographical Syria. Jupiter was much the most important of the Heliopolitan triad. Throughout Syria, in every historical period, Baal-Hadad was the god of fresh water, especially of the winter storms, but also of fresh water springs. By extension, he was the patron of agriculture, which was impossible without fresh water, and ruler of the sky, whence the rains came. In the Hellenistic period Hadad filled many of the same roles as Baal Shamin and Bel did at Palmyra and in northern Syria. Greeks and Romans correctly saw all of them as equivalents of their own Zeus and Jupiter. Also, like all his counterparts, Jupiter Heliopolitanus was cosmocrator, or ruler of the entire universe, including the other gods. A Latin inscription from Beirut calls him: "Regi deo[r(um)]  Iovi  Optimo  Maximo H(eliopolitano) ," "to the king of the gods, Jupiter the Best and Greatest, of Heliopolis." Another, from Heliopolis itself, says: "Iovi  Optimo  Maximo H(eliopolitano) Regulo," "Jupiter the Best and Greatest of Heliopolis, ruler." Regulo here is derived from the verb rego, to rule. Astrological art was especially used to emphasize his role as cosmic emperor.

Figures of Jupiter Heliopolitanus standing between two bullocks or calves have been found at Baalbek, dating from Roman times. [Rene Dussaud"Jupiter heliopolitain", Syria 1 (1920), pp. 3-15; Nina Jidejian, Baalbek Heliopolis "City of the Sun", (Beirut, 1975), ill. no. 135-140]

Besides Baal Gad, Baal Zaphon or Zeus Cassius, Baal Hamon, and Baalath, one more name is identified as Baalbek:
Baalmelech, or "the royal Baal". G. Hoffman, "Aramäische Inschliften.'' Zeitschrift für Assyriologie, XI (1896), p. 246]

Aven  (nothingness). The “plain of Aven” is mentioned by (Amos 1:5) in his denunciation of Syria and the country to the north of Palestine. This Aven is by some supposed to be the once magnificent Heiropolis, “city of  the sun,” now Baalbek (Bal’bek) of Coele-Syria, whose ruins are one of the wonders of the ages. It was situated in a plain near the foot of the Anti-Libanus range of mountains, 42 miles northwest of Damascus. It is famous for the colossal ruins of its temples, one of which with its courts and porticos, extended over 1000 feet in length. The temples were built of marble or limestone and granite. Some of the columns were 7 feet in diameter and 62 feet high, or including capital and pedestal, 89 feet. Some of the building-stones were 64 feet long and 12 feet thick. The temples are of Roman origin. In (Hosea 10:8) the word is clearly an abbreviation of Bethaven, that is, Bethel. Comp. (Hosea 4:15) etc.The sacred city of Heliopolis or On, in Egypt. 1st Kings 12;28-Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves [of] gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

We find in the Talmud, Gad was the name of the planet Jupiter;[F. H. W. Gesenius, Thesaurus philologicus linguae hebraeae et chaldeae Veteris Testamenti (Leipzig, 1829), p. 264] Zeus Cassius signifies Jupiter of Lebanon; and Hamon was supposed to be a Syrian form of the name Amon Michaelis, Supplementa ad lexica hebraica, p. 201; Rosenmüller, `Biblical Geography', I. ii, p. 281, Wilson, `Lands of the Bible', II, p. 384] who, according to the Greek authors, was Zeus-Jupiter. Herodotus, `Histories', II. 42; Diodorus Siculus 1.13.2]

THE SHOCKING FACTS ABOUT THE VOWELS  OF THE NAME ADONAY

The pre-Masoretic text was consonantal, vowels being supplied by the reader from a knowledge of the language.  In the postexilic period (after 538 B.C.) however, the sacred name was withdrawn from popular usage for fear that it would be profaned.  Of the various substitutes that were employed, the chief was "Adonai" ("Lord"), the vowels of which the Masoretes as a rule added to the consonants "YHWH" to indicate that "Adonai" should be read. (THE INTERPRETERS DICTIONARY OF THE BIBLE pg 817)

The Masoretes whom from the 6th to the 10th century worked to reproduce the original text of the Hebrew Bible replaced the vowels of the name YHWH with the vowel signs of Adonai or Elohim. (THE NEW ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA vol 12, 1993 ed.)

The pronunciation of yhwh as Yahweh is a scholarly guess.  Hebrew biblical mss were principally consonantal in spelling until well into the current era.  The pronunciation of words was transmitted in a separate oral tradition.  See MASOREIC TEXT.  The Tetragrammaton was not pronounced at all, the word Adonay, "My Lord", being pronounced in its place; Elohim, "God" was substituted in cases of the combination adonay yhwh (305 times; e.g., Gen 15:2).  (This sort of reading in MT is called a qere perpetuum.)  Though the consonants remained the original pronunciation was eventually lost.  When the Jewish scholars (called Masoretes) added vowel signs to biblical mss sometime before the 10th century A.D., the Tetragrammaton was punctuated with the vowels of the word "Adonai" or "elohim" to indicate that the reader should read "Lord" or "God" instead of accidentally pronouncing the sacred name (TDOT 5:501-02) (THE ANCOR BIBLE DICTIONARY vol 6 pg. 1011)
Tampering with the sacred name is found in the Talmud where the traditional rabbis, by their own admission, declare that everything possible must be done to mask the divine name from ever being invoked.  (Tamid 7:2 or Sota 7:6).

The references above clearly show that the vowel points of Adonay and Elohim were purposely added to YHWH so that it would not be pronounced, but that Adonay or Elohim should be read in its place. This is a very well known truth, which is proven to be fact and acknowledged by biblical scholars, biblical encyclopedias, and orthodox Jews and the Talmud, and by many sacred name Yahweh groups. The vowels of Adonay and Elohim are purposely-false vowel readings for the correct and true pronunciation of YHWH.Let's pronounce YHWH using the vowel points of Adonay to show that the pronunciation produced in doing this can never be the true pronunciation of YHWH.We will now prove what pronunciation is produced by adding and pronouncing the vowels of Adonay applied to YHWH.First, the "a" in Adonay is pronounced like in the words map and cap.  Second, the "o" in Adonay is pronounced like the words pro and grow.  Third, the final "ay" is pronounced in Adonay like in the words May, stay and day.Let's put it all together.  First the "a" produced the sound yah + o sound + ay sound which = yahway/yahweh.Yes, it’s true that the false vowels adonay for pronouncing YHWH actually produce the pronunciation Yahweh/yahway.We can learn one thing for a fact and for certain from this new information that Yahweh can never be a true pronunciation of YHWH.Let it also be noted that there is various pronunciations of the final vowel sound of Adonay, 1) Adonay (ay) as in the words may and day 2) Adonoy (oy) as in the words joy and toy 3) Adoni (i) as in the words hi and pie.  So, lets try these variations as well to show how they pronounce.(1) Yah - o - ay =Yahweh/Yahway . (2) Yah - o - oy = yahweh / yahway. (3) Yah - o - i = yahweh / yahwayAll  these variations still pronounce Yahweh / Yahway when spoken loudly and rapidly.  Yahweh is more than just a false name, it's actually the pronunciation of the Roman Empires chief deity Jupiter / Jove King of the gods and of men to the ancient Romans. Scripture says in rev 12:9 that Satan has deceived the whole world, has he deceived you?
